Half way there in my opinion. It’s quite nicely figured, not as I would say full figured, but it’s not a bat piece of wood. I’m very close to finishing this lovely and quite unique shotun now..can’t wait to use it.

Joseph Lang – Stock refinishing

I’ve started the refinishing of the Lang. It’s actually a nice piece of wood under there. It took a little steaming of dents and then the applying the gunstock linseed based finish can start. I’m going to put on around 40-50 coats…see how nice I can get this finish. A new gallery: Lang 4

My visit to the 2010 CLA gamefair brought two additions to the family. A nice little Yidilz .410 double barrel (new) for my son and a Joseph Lang for me to restore. Here are the photos. It has an intriguing lock mechanism which you can see in the photos!
