With the parts in then canister it was time to heat up the kiln. I’ve programmed it to 1 hour and 15 minutes this time. I was intrigued to see how the parts that we connected to the square backing plate would perform. As it turned out they were fantastic…watch the video and see...

I've attempted a video on blacking an item, in this case a trigger, in the hope it might be a useful review of the "Cold Oxide" product from Caswell. I've found this system to be excellent so far and will try other parts during the restoration process.
