WV Jeffrey Boxlock
WV Jeffrey was a London gun firm that operated from mid 1860′s to the mid 1950′s. It was then bought by an American and still operates to this day I believe. The gun I’ve bought is a 20 bore Boxlock. Non Ejector, but I liked it when I saw it and it has the original barrels, original case and trade label! It was made in 1911 so just about 100 years old. I’ve started work on stripping it down. It needs a bit of work but when it’s finished it’ll be a really nice little gun. Here are some opening pictures.
Another good find you appear to have made. 20 bore very universal maybe your wife and her friends can now join you on your shoots, I’ll keep an eye on it’s progress along with your friends Osbourne which I suspect you’ll finish first.
Ah Richard, we’ll have to see. 20 bore is mighty appealing…
