I’ve grabbed this at Holts. It’s rather a pretty little gun. Made in 1867 it’s an early bar-in-wood hammer gun from Westley Richards. Needs lot’s of work but it’ll be nice when it’s done. Here are some photos;
I nipped off to Westley Richards for a couple of hours this afternoon. I’d been invited much as a thankyou for my work on the “savethebirminghamgunquarter.co.uk” campain. They are truly lovely people. What a wonderful company. I was shown around everywhere and even watched a new .470 and 500 rifle being fired for alignment...
