The blanch has had the rather horrid looking wooden stock extension replaced with Buffalo horn. Looks much better. I’m filling the grain on the stock at the moment and starting to apply the finishing oil.

Blanch Barrels Browned

These were a bit of a fiddle. The contrast between the steels was quite light so I had to do some very fine carding in between each browning coat. I’ve had the engraving picked up a little and I’m quite happy with the results. Let me know what you guys think. Cheers T.
